Our guarantee means we'll repair or replace any defective window, door or skylight for as long as the original purchaser owns the home. Parts and labor included.

Q. How long is a lifetime?

A. A lifetime is exactly that... your lifetime within your home. Milgard Windows will guarantee the performance of your windows for as long as you own them. Our guarantee not only applies to new construction homes, but to new additions and replacement windows as well. It means that we will repair or replace any Milgard Window defective in materials or workmanship at no cost. The "Lifetime" portion of the guarantee may not be assigned or transferred and terminates upon sale of the home.

Our warranty includes parts and labor. If a problem occured with your windows due to manufacterer's defect, we would repair or replace it at no cost to you.

Q. What about a home I sell?

A. Milgard offers a full five-year warranty for the resale of homes. This five-year transferrable warranty is offered to owners with Milgard Windows that were installed for new construction, remodeling or replacement use. The warranty runs from the date the window was originally purchased and expires five years after that date, regardless of the number of intermediate owners.

Q. Does a condominium qualify as a home?

A. Absolutely. Your condo does qualify as an owned residence and you as the owner would enjoy all the benefits of the Milgard lifetime guarantee.


Q. What about apartments and commercial buildings?

A. Milgard offers a full ten-year commercial warranty to owners of multifamily homes as well as the owners of buildings used for commercial, governmental, fraternal or religious purposes. This ten-year warranty includes any cost for parts and labor and runs from the date the windows were purchased and expires ten years after that date, regardless of number of owners.

Ply Gem vinyl windows and patio doors are backed by the strongest warranty in the industry. We offer a lifetime, 20-year transferable warranty that protects frames, sashes or panels, hardware and glass against manufacturing defects for as long as you own your home. The warranty will be transferred to a subsequest owner and will be 20 years for material and 5 years for labor from the original date of installation.

Frigidaire Warranty

When a furnace or air conditioner is truly built to exacting standards of quality and durability, the manufacturer's confidence shows in its warranty. Frigidaire offers a Five Year Quality Pledge, unheard of in the industry.  We’ll replace your entire unit should a heat exchanger or compressor fail within the first five years of purchase. No hassles and no questions. If the heat exchanger (the major component of your furnace) or the compressor (the most important part of your air conditioner) fail within the first five years, we’ll replace the equipment under the Frigidaire Quality Pledge program. In addition, all the parts of your system are under warranty for eight years.
